It’s Your Gyrl, Ms Carmen aka Platinum Voice PR bringing my FIRST “Platinum Model of the Month” to you!
I must say that scouting for Chicago Models has been a task for me with everything else that I’ve been involved in with.
I believe blessings come in all forms and this model asked me for this spot! So, I will definitely honor her request.
So, I would like to Introduce to you Chicago……
Kekei Valentine started her modeling career being a live mannequin for her god sister and Fashion Designer, Blair Christian. Once exposing herself to the idea of fashion it sparked a curiosity that led her to the dynamic force she brings to the Chicago Fashion Industry.
In 2008, Kekei Valentine was featured in her first fashion show ,”Tennessee State Homecoming Runway.” Although circumstances didn’t let her to stay, once returning to Chicago , she appeared in many shows with coordinators such as Blake Martin , Johnny Razor (Founder of Picture Picture modeling troupe), Columbia University fashion department and countless
After attending Harold Washington College ,she decided to become assistant coördinator for the student government’s fashion show. It was a success and inspired her to coördinate her own fashion shows.
She assembled the first modeling troupe at Harold Washington called Artificial Alliance. It was an all African-American modeling troupe from all the Chicago Community College locations. Due to differences in opinion, Artificial Alliance pulled out. Ms Valentine chose to keep her troupe and conduct business off school grounds.
However, the troupe’s progress improved tremendously and they were able to work with a lot of heavy community influences such as the Chicago Public Schools, Surround Sound of Fashion Show, A’kits, A’Gaci, Loehmans, various designers and Various Boutiques around the city.
Once the troupe separated, Kekei decided to upgrade her modeling career.
She became “A Face for TV”. She was featured as Leading Lady in videos with Local Chicago Artists like Ben One , John Blue , Latin sensation RPM, and newest member of Taylor Gang, YUNG ATM. She has also graced appearances in videos with Artists like, Dat Boi Hot and DJ Nate.
She now resides under Saavy Diamonds doing events with heavies such as BlokClubDjs, DJShaun T, L.E.P Bogus Boys , and being featured in movies.
Kekei’s Modeling Management is the lovely, MsKatrina Lynn.
