Reid Brother release ‘Lost in Space’
The Reid Brothers is the brainchild of Lonnie Reid and serves as a vehicle of collaborative creativity among three brothers. One brother (Lonnie Reid) was been a working musicians for years performing in many venues on gigs ranging from pop, blues, r&b, jazz and rock. Terry Reid has been writing, performing and recording original music for a while and Anthony Reid is an accomplished poet and novice vocalist. What the Reid Brothers have captured is a synergy that you feel when you listen whether it is the angst of Anthony Reid’s spoken words on ‘The Journey’ or the raw, brutal intensity of Lonnie and Terry’s instrumental interlude ‘Oh Boy!’ or the beauty and sophistication of the song ‘You Never Asked’ featuring the haunting trumpet work of guest artist Ben Mostella to the smooth jazz sound of ‘Twinkle Twinkle.
