Hey Y’all!
It’s Your Gyrl, Ms. Carmen aka Platinum Voice PR bringing another Platinum Fashion Item to you!
Chi-Town is being represented by the hottest clothing line, Collective Thoughts Clothing. Collective Thoughts is a Chicago based clothing line established in March of 2013, by Abraham Sims. Abe Sims, the CEO and creative director thought Chicago should be represented in its own words by one of its own. Abe Sims started the clothing line with a small budget and is funded strictly from T-shirt sales. His goal is to expand into other entities of the fashion world; such as denim, hats, jackets, coats, just to name a few.
Mr. Sims has always thought of himself as a person with great taste in fashion. “I felt it was time to explore the possibility of collecting my thoughts and making a fashion sense of it; to see what others would think. I look to expand outside the Chicago-land area into other cities as well.”
The brand mostly features printed t-shirts and uses controversial designs, to generate response and dialogue. The most recognizable “CHI” print features a variety of notable people and landmarks grouped together to form the word, “CHI”. Collective Tee Clothing’s sole purpose is to bring awareness to the city of Chicago and the people who live there.
Collective Thoughts offers a variety of shirts for ladies and men including tanks, midriff and v-neck. The products can be purchased at Chicago boutiques like: Sole’ About You, Pink Junkie Boutique and on the company’s website.
Overall, CEO Sims calls the “CHI” t-shirt a “trip down memory lane” because of the “people” and “places” seen; it reminds one of their favorite singer, sports figure or a place where they had a romantic date. Collective Tees Clothing is the brand representing the “CHI” exclusively.
