Hole Things- “TRAP PARTY”|@BlacDropEnt

Hole Things  -“Trap Party”

Pittsburgh Pa rapper, Marlo Greenlee is better known by his stage name Hole Things. Legends like Jay-Z, Rakim, and Michael Jackson inspired him to become a musician.  Performing freestyle battles, features, and hip-hop shows facilitated in creating a name for himself.

Eventually, finding a studio home in Atlanta’s hip hop community proved to be quite a challenge. Besides that, Hole Things studied the art of music in various studios around the United States because this deemed necessary. Over time, he would develop a style that combines the wordplay of the East Coast and the catchy hooks from the South.

Several years were stripped from his life when a run-in with the law sidelined his first deal and sent him to prison.  Shortly after his release, Hole Things regained his confidence by focusing on a new mindset and being determined to take back his spot.

“The more you look… you’ll begin to see the true quality of a star”.

Now that his new single “Trap Party” produced by Taz Taylor Beats is streaming on Spotify and Apple Music, proves that this is all he needed to separate himself from his peers.

Humbly, Hole Things describes himself as a diamond in the rough. After the buffing and  polishing process ends, you’ll begin to see the many facets of him – Hole Things.

“Not Another Zombie Movie” is an action/comedy about how Franklin and Mike find themselves trapped in the dead-infested Cyrene City, where they must attempt to lead a group of unconventional survivors to safety. As they join forces with the likes of a pregnant woman, a moronic arms dealer, and a mentally challenged man, they will have to determine which is worse: relying on each other or succumbing to the zombie mayhem.

While this uprising of zombies has overwhelmed the city, Mr. Roberts, the CEO of R2 Pharmaceuticals, has sent in a team of mercenaries known as the S.I.E.G.E into Cyrene City to recover the only known antidote for his own financial gain. “Not Another Zombie Movie” is a hilarious twisted tale about survival versus morality during a zombie apocalypse. Watch as these survivors discover there is no such thing as a hero when zombies are trying to eat your face off.

“Not Another Zombie Movie” is the follow-up to the film “Shots Fired,” which has just been acquired by Maverick Entertainment for worldwide distribution. “Not Another Zombie Movie” is directed by Emmy Award-winning cinema photographer Donte “Diesel” Williams and written by Jay Davis.

Platinum DJ of The Month

[Platinum DJ of the Week] @THEDJDOLLAR

Hey Y’all!

It’s Your Gyrl, Ms. Carmen aka Platinum Voice PR bringing another Platinum DJ to you! I had the pleasure of meeting DJ Dollar at the Core DJs Retreat in Miami and  in Jackson, MS. I must say that I was very impressed with this young man. Please take the time to read this and I’m sure you’ll be impressed as well.

Success has been written and etched in stone, when your birth name is Dollar. Achieving aspirations and goals are DJ Dollar’s focus and settling for less is not an option for this West African native.  Dollar  Agbemadon, better known as DJ Dollar was born in Accra, Ghana on September 23, 1992 to Joseph and Monique Agbemadon. Dollar, the youngest of three siblings, has spent most of his time in schools in Ghana; Crown Prince Academy, Morning Star school and Lincoln Community School.  Currently, he is attending West Virginia University majoring Business administration with a minor in PR and French.

Throughout the years, DJ Dollar has devoted a significant amount of time and energy to music. Devoting a significant amount of time and energy to music in his teens and his love for the art of DJing gave him a strong positive affirmation to pursue this as a full-time business. In 2005, DJ Dollar was given the opportunity to turn his admiration into reality at a college party in Brittany, France. “By simply performing a baby scratch several times on the record, I felt a strong positive feeling that run through my body” says DJ Dollar.

In 2008, completing school was a high priority, so Dollar had to focus on his education. Promoters began to hire him for high school dances, picnics and talent shows in 2010. This was a confirmation that DJ Dollar has a career awaiting him.  “Its a business, my main goal is to keep dj’ing, grow my brand and reputation; but on the business side of things, I have the dream of opening a high-class lounge in West Africa”.

In 2011, after graduating high school, he wasn’t able to start college due to a series of family misfortunes. However, this didn’t discourage him, it encouraged him to press forward. DJ Dollar contacted his mentor from Ghana, DJ Peekay, and began interning as a junior DJ, to see how to control the crowd with music.  DJ Peekay extended an invitation to his home to teach Dollar the basic method of beat matching.  “It was the only instructional session he has ever given me to date. He speaks in parables every single time; let’s me explore on my own, like how he learnt on his own and he has made it to the top” says Dollar. With limited funds, he bought a Numark Mixdeck Pro 1st Generation and dj’d his first party at his former high school. Gigs didn’t stop for Dollar, although he couldn’t afford a laptop or a Serato box. One of my main goals is “making music a universal language” “If someone like @djnabsinlab who has made it still stays up late to PRACTICE then I’ll never stop practicing.”

Late December of 2011, Dollar started his first semester at West Virginia University and immediately made friends throughout the campus. During this time, he faced a major loss in the family, his brother suddenly passed on, Dollar wanted to make his brother proud because he was a big supporter.   His first event was the “2012 Africa night”; then followed by a graduation party in May for a Ghanaian, who just graduated from the university. His sister, who is a big supporter, helped him purchase his first console, a Numark NS7, which had Serato itch built-in.  At this time, his career started picking up, gaining gigs from private events in the summer to university events – in the late fall.

With his popularity increasing daily, he began working with locals, DJ Fiesto and DJ Monstalung, at hip hop showcases, tailgate parties and a bar named “Chic n Bones.. In Spring of 2013, Dollar became the university’s DJ and started branching out into weddings, more corporate events and building a team.  “Two of my main mentors, who have always been with me in Morgantown, DJ Arthur King (CEO of MYRADIO NETWORK and Power 909 FM) and DJ Monstalung (CEO of PartyMonstas)”. DJ Arthur King gave him a slot on his radio station and guided him on how to be a “Radio DJ”. DJ Monstalung made him a key person in the Morgantown hip hop scene.

Hosting parties became fairly interesting and Dollar knew that this could catapult his career into another stratosphere. Hosting a party with DJ JAM MASTER J’SON, the son of the legendary RUN DMC DJ, Jam Master Jay was the most memorable experience of a lifetime.  The hosting didn’t stop after that, in Fall of 2013, he hosted a Pusha T after party when he came to WVU.  “I had the great pleasure of opening up for the “World Famous G-Unit DJ,  DJ Whoo Kid. I couldn’t believe he was standing next to me.  I have listened to him since I was 13!” Another mentor, “Core DJ”, DJ Schemes, an alumnus of WVU,  when he came for the homecoming weekend,  he advised him on several things. After DJ Schemes’ advice, “I kept hitting the road and ended up doing shows in Cincinnati too. I have fans that love me out there!” says Dollar.

DJ Dollar knows that he has to travel outside of his limits, to effectively network with other DJs. Recently, he traveled to Miami, Florida for his first “Core DJs” retreat, where he met the world-renowned DJ Scratch,  the 1988 New Music Seminar Battle For World Supremacy DJ Champion, 3 Time Grammy-Nominated Multi-Platinum Producer, The 2010 “Master Of The Mix” Winner & The 2012 & 2013 Global Spin Awards Turntablist Of The Year.

Candidly speaking,  “I’m an aspiring Core DJ. Core DJs opened my eyes to the world of music business and made me realize that djing these days is more than just an art. I’m an entrepreneur studying business administration in college and a good DJ”.

[Platinum Featured Artist] Miami Artist @FullKlip35

Who Is FK?

FK is the hottest MC to come out of Miami in a minute and he has the clubs and radio stations going crazy over his hit singles “Don’t Know How To Act” and “I Need It.”
Produced by super-producer Rico Love’s production camp, the two party staples immediately get the floors turnt up and crowds in a frenzy as the Live And Let Live Records MC puts his stamp on the game.

“When you hear my music, it gives you goose bumps.  My club songs are to get my foot in the game and to rock shows but I’m a storytelling lyricist.  I want to be heard and considered as one the greats.  I want to be talked about when people are getting their hair cut. I want to be mentioned in the same conversations with Jadakiss and Nas.”

Rhyming for over ten years and once affiliated with Game’s Black Wall Street Records and Nu Jerzey Devil, FK spits  about his real life struggles of unemployment, being shot and stabbed, prison stints and terrorizing dope boys in the streets.  His catalogue, also includes stories about loses and what it’s really like growing up in the streets of Miami because the city isn’t filled with a million “Tony Montanas” as other rappers will have you believe.

“Most of these rappers don’t have the story and the ones that have actually gone through real stuff have the least amount of fame in the industry while the perpetrators who haven’t been through anything, fabricating and portraying that image, they got all the fame and the money.  I’m here to change that.  I got the story and the talent, lyrics and metaphors.”

Jail can either make you or break you and for FK, the revolving door became tiresome as he honed his craft and wrote a few books and movies while inside as well.  Locked up from the age of 14 to 20 and then serving a few bids after that, FK hopes to inspire people with his story and not promote it and send others down that same dark road.

On tracks like “Streets Is All I Know” and “Nobody Ain’t Perfect,” FK paints pictures with his words as he lets you see his life of struggle and what led him to get caught up in the streets.  Apologetic at times, FK makes you realize that a lot of kids have to make manhood decisions at an early age that causes them to jump off the porch to help feed their families.

Passion and pain can also be felt throughout FK’s music as you can see the pen bleed in his rhymes.  With over 20,000 YouTube views of his video “I Miss You,” the tribute track pays homage to his mother he lost in November to cancer and his daughter, who died on the same day after a hit and run accident.

Further trials and tribulation can be heard on tracks like “That Check” which details how anyone will cross you and how friendships can come to an end over money.
With several projects slated to drop this year including a “Best Of Both Worlds” type collaboration project with Miami R&B crooner Pleasure P, FK is a living example that dreams come true as long as you don’t give up.  He’s what the game has been missing as he brings a message back into music with bars and wordplay to back it up.

“I’m trying to stand out, not blend in.  It’s time for somebody who actually went through some crazy stuff that most wild people still in these streets can relate to.  I’m trying to teach through music and change the world one hood at a time.”

Who is FK and where are you from?

What has been your greatest achievement so far?

VIICREE PLAIN BLACK

Chris Marshall, better known as his stage name 7Cree is a young, black, ambitious upcoming, unsigned rapper from Chicago, IL. Raised on the Eastside in one of the most dangerous neighborhoods in Chicago, the Jeffery Manor, a young 7Cree was introduced to violence, death, and poverty at an early age. At 12, 7Cree lost his young cousin Donesha Harris to gun violence in Chicago. Her death was one of the hardest trials for him and his family; she was young 22 years old and was the mother of 7Cree’s 1 year old nephew.

However, Cree learned to take the negative energy he saw and felt and transform it into poetry at the age of 13 also, he started performing at local talent shows and just entertaining friends and family became an emotional release for the young artist.

7Cree pro 2

After recording his first 3 songs in a house studio on the east-side of Chicago, Cree discovered his talent with taking poetry, his problems, and experiences and turning them into original rap songs. At 16, 7Cree at the time known as, Millie Styles became a locally known young lyricist in the underground Chicago rap scene. Early 2007 a curious 7Cree wanting to learn everything about studios and recording music took production classes and music theory classes to increase his knowledge of music. 7Cree continued to study the industry, other artist, and how to write songs. He quickly put together a group of artist of close friends and started to create mix tapes and record videos. The music was distributed to local high schools and community colleges. Soon 7Cree was performing shows with a crowd that knew or heard of him. Financial problems had soon struck 7Cree and his family. His mother struggled to raise him and his 3 brothers by herself. When things got real bad for him and his family 7Cree made a wrong turn to the streets for help. He quickly found out that the streets was no place for a young talented and gifted man, and found other ways using his talent to provide and assist his family. He started to make beats and compose a lot of production work. 7Cree stood outside of shows and events selling his music and trying to get more fans. With his new-found hustle he discovered that no matter what, music would always be one thing he would never give up on.

7cree 2

Becoming a bigger artist was no longer just a dream to Cree but a mission, his destiny. 7Cree has performed for high school pep rallies, club events, local parties in Chicago, talents shows, and local underground rap shows. He was rewarded by SAE College in a production contest where producers battled each other by making beats in 2 minutes. 7Cree only continued studying the industry and writing songs. He now is at a point of no return. He is now working towards completing his goals and dreams. Currently he is working on projects with different producers from Chicago and the UK including D Brooks, Aye-KO, and Relta of the UK, ChaseNDough, and more. He released a mix tape of 17 songs early 2014 titled “Nothin Major” which got 7Cree a lot of exposure and attention. All the new songs he’s been writing and recording are straight from his poetry book and experiences. He says that the songs he plans to release in the future will be the type of music that will keep him alive forever. 7Cree is one artist that will give birth to a new element of music out of Chicago. Be on the look out for more music and videos from this powerful developing artist.

[FEATURE] @EastsideFritz-The”Unstoppable” Artist

Hey Y’all!

It’s Your Gyrl, Ms. Carmen aka Platinum Voice PR bringing another Platinum Featured Artist to you! This featured artist goes by the name of EastSide Fritz. Please take the time to read on this indie artist because we support all indie artists, by any means necessary.

Eastside Fritz

Whether by the creator’s design or by forces beyond our comprehension, in each generation there comes along a special collaborative, a team, a super duo. A combination that emits so much strength, so much raw magnetic appeal, and energy, that it can affect everyone and everything around them. Once again this phenomenon has occurred, once again the bar of excellence has been raised, and once again this vessel from the heavens is among us. This time, hailing from the United States and Australia, their names are “So Flawless” and “Eastside Fritz”.

So Flawless and Eastside Fritz are forging ahead in the music industry in a momentous way, with their debut, eleven song album, “So Flawless Presents Eastside Fritz”.  So Flawless, an Australian producer, is the instrumental piece to their collaborative – no pun intended.  Having previously worked with DJ Green Lantern, Chino XL, Danny Boy, and Charlie Clips, it’s no wonder why So Flawless has already begun to make a name for himself inside the industry. On the other side of this duo is Eastside Fritz, the American Hip-Hop artist who brings the voice, as both a rapper and singer. The first collaboration between these two was towards the end of 2013. Their persistent work ethic to their unique sound is the reason this tag team is ready to take the music industry by storm. Eastside Fritz brings a unique voice armed with remarkable rhyme schemes and flow, while the production by So Flawless, makes for an unparalleled sound. Together, this duo blends so perfectly, bringing to you something that has been missing from the music industry for years. Musical elements blended from Electronic, Funk, Soul, R&B, and Hip-Hop, both So Flawless and Eastside Fritz enjoy the versatility they bring into music.

 Eastside Fritz 1

The confidence level is high with regards to this album, “So Flawless Presents Eastside Fritz”.  As they say, where there is smoke, there is fire! After cooking this up for some time, So Flawless and Eastside Fritz are ready for the world to hear their musical compilations. They spent countless days and nights perfecting this album. There were many sleepless nights required to get this album ready. The belief in themselves and their product, along with their tireless work ethic, is why this super duo will not be stopping anytime soon. Immediately after the completion of this project, So Flawless and Eastside Fritz look to continuously make new music for their fans.  With the success of Australian rapper Iggy Azalea, the market has opened for Australian musicians, such as So Flawless. What is a record label’s dream? This super duo has already attracted thousands of fans between both markets – a true global impact.

So Flawless and Eastside Fritz are very ambitious with their goals. The signing to a major record label and publishing deal is where their quest begins. To introduce a #1 song on the Billboard charts is another mission. This super duo looks to make classic records that will be played and remembered for years to come. However, most importantly, touring the world, performing their hits for Millions of fans, and setting stages ablaze are what So Flawless and Eastside Fritz dream of doing. The belief that one day they will unite the world through sound, is a reality in both of their lives that no one can take away from them. Not only will their talent look to take these two to the next level, but their professionalism, humbleness, and respect for the ones that came before them is what makes industry heavyweights honor their commitment. This is not a fad. This is a collaborative brand built around their sound.
