[NEW MUSIC] J-MANE – “PROOF” FT J-HOOD | @JMane_HT

Hip-Hop Artist, J-Mane overcomes the adversities of “The Struggle”

J-Mane has seen many struggles throughout his life and desires change.
Phillip Jermane Allen – also known as J-Mane, is an up and coming hip-hop artist out the underbelly of small rural West Virginia. Allen was born February 4th, 1988 in White Sulphur Spring to parents, Penny Allen and Jay Jones.

The term “music is the entry to the soul” sits with the young J-Mane. It wasn’t always his passion to still make music. When he was younger, he had another passion that he wanted to carry him to the road of success, football. He had dreams of making it pro and coming out of the struggle. The struggles became more of a reality when he got older.

In 2007, Allen’s world changed completely. His mother, Penny Allen, got sick and lost her fight. Young Allen is merely just coming out of high school at the age of 18, and he didn’t know what to think. Sadness, anger, many emotions were running through his head. During his emotional rollercoaster, he gained a DUI charge, and this was when his mindset changed his whole perspective. Phillip turned to football and envisioned success as his way to make his momma proud. In 2015, his dreams fulfilled when he went to the west coast and signed with an AFL (Arena Football League) team. Shortly after signing with the team- his nightmare began. The interim coach lost his position, and his contract voided. Back on the struggle, J-Mane tried to think of ways to cope. Music became the answer. He was able to speak his story and help inspire others. His path appears to be finally set.

J-MANE

What’s next for J-Mane?

J-Mane, with inspirations from the death of his mother, family, friends, and the overall struggle of life, began his journey into the hip-hop scene. His story speaks for itself with hard times, conflict and poverty. His vision is evident. He aims to reach new heights and change the world with his music. His most recent single, “Proof,” featuring ex D-Block member J-Hood is the prime example of struggle in his life. The record speaks on his story of hardships.

The truth that J-Mane speaks is something that everyone can identify. J-Mane is here to stay and is the next face of the hip-hop community.

[NEW MUSIC ALERT] Smiles Official @SmilesOfficial | I Got A Bag #HEAT!

Smiles Official is a talented aspiring artist who uses witty wordplay and clever rhetoric to write the music that has all the ladies of South Florida willing to “make them panties drop”. Embracing his rich Jamaican background, Official has always been a lover of both music and food with lots of soul. In junction with his deeply embedded cultural roots, Smiles also accredits a large part of his success today to the city that raised him, Cutler Ridge (Miami, FL).
Not only was he able to launch his rap career in Cutler Ridge but he was also recognized by his city for being a force on the football field and a bullet on the track. Ripe with raw talent, Smiles Official embodied all that is carpe diem, and he has been seizing every moment since.
All in all, his attention was persistently sought out by many and he was able to broaden his network more and more every year. Through his affiliation with Deuce Mob, his love for music found him a temporary line of business as a party DJ. It was apparent even from then that Smiles Official was destined to be discovered. His energy radiates through a crowd like a surge of power. When Smiles Official is on the mic, everyone feels good.
His life was at a high point, but little did he know, the sky is the limit. Upon returning to Miami during the Summer of 2008, Smiles Official was invited to take the stage at Club Tuckers. On this particular evening, the guest list was illustrious. Big Miami names such as Larry Dogg, Grind Mode and Piccalo were all in attendance, That night was a turning point in Official’s life; that night Smiles Official decided, “I’m not stopping until I make it, period.”
Smiles Official is an original talent with a unique sound, he calls it Mood Music, and the streets love it! In just a year’s time, Smiles Official was able to release several mixtapes, including the ladies favorite PDM: Panty-Dropping Music. His performances have become commonplace at various reputable clubs in South Florida.
Smiles Official works closely with other Miami-based organizations and his current record label Streets Enterprise Entertainment, of which he is the Co-Founder. With the crowd of people who halfheartedly attempt to pursue a career in the Hip-Hop industry it is often difficult to tell the imposters from the real thing but you already know Smiles Official is as real as they come.

Hole Things- “TRAP PARTY”|@BlacDropEnt

Hole Things  -“Trap Party”

Pittsburgh Pa rapper, Marlo Greenlee is better known by his stage name Hole Things. Legends like Jay-Z, Rakim, and Michael Jackson inspired him to become a musician.  Performing freestyle battles, features, and hip-hop shows facilitated in creating a name for himself.

Eventually, finding a studio home in Atlanta’s hip hop community proved to be quite a challenge. Besides that, Hole Things studied the art of music in various studios around the United States because this deemed necessary. Over time, he would develop a style that combines the wordplay of the East Coast and the catchy hooks from the South.

Several years were stripped from his life when a run-in with the law sidelined his first deal and sent him to prison.  Shortly after his release, Hole Things regained his confidence by focusing on a new mindset and being determined to take back his spot.

“The more you look… you’ll begin to see the true quality of a star”.

Now that his new single “Trap Party” produced by Taz Taylor Beats is streaming on Spotify and Apple Music, proves that this is all he needed to separate himself from his peers.

Humbly, Hole Things describes himself as a diamond in the rough. After the buffing and  polishing process ends, you’ll begin to see the many facets of him – Hole Things.

[Single] POINT – Soop’ed Up | @DaOfficialPoint

point

Rapper “Point” Hargrave was born in Evanston, Illinois about 10 miles North of Chicago. Point was raised by a single God-fearing mother who nourished and encouraged him to pursue his dreams in music. He grew up on the west side of Chicago which wasn’t necessarily the easiest upbringing. Point grew up witnessing the murders of friends and was constantly surrounded by violence. When you ask; Point what motivates him to make music he humbly replies: “When I was young I never knew if I would make it out the hood my motivation was to give my mother a better life, and that’s something I could not do as a child. Point has had dreams of becoming a rapper ever since he was 8 years old.Point’s very first major project is his upcoming mixtape Stay On Point,he worked with a couple local producers on the mixtape such as The Trakman, Mydo and he worked with producers out-of-town like platinum statz and a producer from London name Rawheatz. His song “Who Iz U” instantly became a street banger; it received a great response from the streets. Point has been offered a few independent label offers but has chosen to remain unsigned at this time. When asked about his future Point says “I just want put out a product of music that everyone can relate to and enjoy”. The music business is looking for a breath of fresh air and that’s me.” This is a business and you have to work hard for what you want, and in the end that’s what gains you the most success with your fans.
